T O P I C R E V I E Wcuriouswomanwhy is this considered a very good aspect?L0veLessWell the whole responsibility thing and maybe it makes people want to keep at the relationship even during hard times. Im just guessing here. hahacuriouswomanI read somewhere that if it is a woman's saturn conjunct man's venus it is better than the other way'round. I am curious as to why the effect might be different.mintgirl123It's more negative than positive, if it was a trine, it would add a stability factor to their interactions and relationship so that would be a good aspect to have, but the conjunction gives a more 'sober' effect. There's a feeling of restriction and so it's somewhat smothering actually.L0veLessSaturn conjunct Venus in synastry adds an air of coldness to the original energy of planet it goes in conjunct with, especially if the planet is a malefic like Venus. Venus is all about relationships and fun and Saturn is about seriousness, responsbility, duty, punishment, lessons. With Saturn coming together on the Ascendant of the second individual, although in a sign like Libra, it may still add that serious undertone to your relationship.I personally believe every relationship should have a serious undertone just to keep it nice and steady. On a more positive note, Saturn represents staying power too. Many long term relationships have serious Saturn contacts, such as Sun conjunct Saturn, sextile/trine Saturn (just an example). You can't really judge too much without having the full charts of the 2 people.quoted from: http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3445 L0veLess quote:Originally posted by curiouswoman:I read somewhere that if it is a woman's saturn conjunct man's venus it is better than the other way'round. But astrology doesn't know who's who. It probably depends more on who is playing which role.
